Katherine Heigl will be honored by ShoWest as its Female Star of the Year. Variety reports that the Knocked Up actress, who will next appear opposite Ashton Kutcher in Killers, will receive the award at the annual convention of theater owners scheduled for Las Vegas in mid-March.

Katherine Heigl has reportedly filled in the spot left vacant by Reese Witherspoon in the upcoming movie One For The Money.
The Knocked Up actress took Witherspoon’s place after the latter withdrew from the project for unknown reasons. Movie bosses were then said to have roped in Heigl to star as Stephanie Plum in the film based on Janet Evanovich's novel of the same name, reports Contactmusic.com.
The film tells the story of an unemployed lingerie buyer who becomes a bounty hunter to make ends meet. The shooting is expected to kick start once the screenplay is completed, according to Daily Variety.

KATHERINE Heigl is to return to TV show Grey’s Anatomy.
While fans have been waiting to hear what’s next for the show, creator and head writer Shonda Rhimes took the liberty to give away some juicy spoilers while at the 41st Annual NAACP Awards on Friday, including what’s in store for character next time around.
Shonda revealed to reporters of Katherine Heigl’s stint on the drama: “She’s written into the next script.”
She had taken a short break to tend to her adopted baby, Nayleigh, with husband Josh Kelley.

We kind of forgot that she's still on Grey's Anatomy (after being fired and all), but turns out Katherine Heigl is set to re-assume Izzie duties on the ABC medical show next week, and the photos look promising, at least to those who are (still) hoping for an Alex-Izzie reunion.
According to the official description from ABC, the Grey's episode that features Heigl's return will see her "hoping to reconcile with Alex," something that is terribly different from the antagonistic you-got-me-fired Izzie that was the last we saw of her. In fact, in one of the photos, they are actually hugging.
